Inductive Proximity Sensors

Versatile Rugged Reliable

In the ever expanding world of automation, control system technology is becoming more complex. Xensor Inductive Proximity Sensors offer state-of-the-art high switching accuracy and uncompromised reliability.

Watertight, dust-proof, impervious to oil, yet sensitive to all metals they operate on the Eddy Current principle. The sensing head emits an alternating radio frequency field generated by a solid state oscillator.

As the target approaches eddy currents draw greater power from the oscillator, at a specified switching distance abruptly nullifying the oscillation triggering the NC or NO switch. Available for flush or non-flush mounting with shielded or un-shielded cases and a variety of mounting thread sizes.
