Capacitive Proximity Sensors

Expanding the Limits of Sensing Technology

Xensor Capacitive Sensors Go/no-go switching, highly accurate, non-contact, proximity actuated devices can detect both metal and non-metallic objects in a variety of applications.

The sensitivity of the sensor is affected by the dielectric constant of the target material being detected. Higher dielectric constants, like those measured during liquid level sensing or product filling operations, make them ideal for these applications.

They can be configured with a potentiometer giving you the ability to fine tune the sensor with your application and with various shielding and EMC resistance to give you greater flexibility when installing the unit.
